I was delighted to be asked to speak to some ACCA accountants last Friday at the Swansea event “Harnessing the power of Social Media” and I thought I’d share with the presentation and some of the notes.
The presentation looked at some reasons accountants should be using Facebook and some methods for utilising it. There was also a brief look at the other existing and emergent social media platforms out there too.

We don’t really mind, but this article sums up why using Google Plus is a really good idea to help your business engage with its audience or just to help your SEO. Please don’t take our word for it though and read this article:
“…This makes Google+ more important than ever for your business. Even if you don’t think your customers are yet active on Google+, you need to get on it for the SEO value. By doing some simple steps like consistently post on the same topics and grow your Google+ followers, you help Google drive even more customers to your site.”
